Telehealth Program

Charles Sturt University is the lead organisation of the new Three Rivers UDRH. The University has formed a partnership with Western Sydney University, Notre Dame University and University of New South Wales. The Three Rivers UDRH has established relationships with primary care and health services in its footprint. The footprint is characterised by the larger regional centres of Wagga, Albury, Griffith, Dubbo and Orange and smaller rural communities. A small part of the footprint is considered remote. Objectives of consultancy: To provide a framework for establishing a telehealth training centre suitable for a regional and rural environment including: – To inform the scope and capacity for the project – To provide a program of capital and resource acquisition to meet the program needs that optimises the use of the available funding – To provide options for a curriculum of training resources for the program – To assess the internal context to inform the development of a telehealth plan – To suggest a budget for the program – To propose an evaluation framework and requirements for sustainability – To include a timeframe for roll-out – To assess the key risks associated with the program – To monitor the implementation and provide ongoing support – To provide a needs assessment – To identify key stakeholders
