The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for a fully supported and managed Platform as a Service (PaaS) for QT’s SAP solution landscape. In line with government requirements, QT, incorporating OSR, is looking to test the market to explore opportunities to implement a fully supported and managed Platform as a Service (PaaS) for QT’s SAP solution landscape. QT requires a flexible, scalable and modern technology platform service, to not only support its current financial and revenue management services, but to also provide a solid foundation for future growth and change. QT is seeking suitably qualified vendors to respond to this ITO, provisioning for a term of three years with options for one plus one year extensions. The following key objectives make up this ITO: 1. To implement a fully supported and managed Platform as a Service (PaaS) for QT’s SAP environment before 30 June 2018. 2. To partner with a PaaS supplier who is certified by SAP to run SAP HANA enterprise solutions. 3. To achieve flexibility through virtualisation of its existing platforms. 4. To achieve a reduction in the operating costs of managing the platform, whilst at the same time ensuring flexibility, security and sustainability of services. 5. To implement a scalable platform that can be leveraged for future initiatives as capability expands. 6. To explore options to provision other business systems (e.g. QGrants that is currently hosted under an Infrastructure as a Service arrangement by 31 December 2018). For detailed information on the specific goods and services sought under this tender, please review the “PaaS Renewal ITO Documents” in “Schedules A1 to A5”.
