NEW TENDERS (44 New)
ICT EXPORT OPPORTUNITIES
This document has been around for a while - but we felt is was worth including as a feature while companies consider their export options at the start of the year.
Australia’s ICT industry is one of the fastest growing and most innovative sectors of the Australian economy. Many companies in the industry are actively pursuing international business opportunities and winning new contracts in the global marketplace. Exports of Australian ICT contributed more than $5.3 billion to the economy in 2005 (ABS), and there is strong potential for even greater exports.

Australian ICT innovators, SRA Information Technology are proud of the fact that their product EnviroSysTM can have a global impact on the economy and community environment by enabling such things as the monitoring and notification of above acceptable levels of greenhouse gas emissions, the measurement of contamination levels in water and of dust in the air.
COONAN - PHONE CONNECTION AND FAULT REPAIR REMAINS STRONG
The Australian Communications and Media Authority’s (ACMA) Telecommunications Performance Data report for the September 2006 quarter, released today, showed strong performance from the industry in meeting new connection and fault repair standards, the Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, Senator Helen Coonan said. The report demonstrates how AAPT, Optus, Primus and Telstra have complied with their Customer Service Guarantee (CSG) obligations. The CSG covers fixed phone services, particularly the time it takes to connect and repair telephone services.
