This document has been around for a while - but we felt is was worth including as a feature while companies consider their export options at the start of the year.

Australia’s ICT industry is one of the fastest growing and most innovative sectors of the Australian economy. COONAN - PHONE CONNECTION AND FAULT REPAIR REMAINS STRONG

The Australian Communications and Media Authority’s (ACMA) Telecommunications Performance Data report for the September 2006 quarter, released today, showed strong performance from the industry in meeting new connection and fault repair standards, the Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts, Senator Helen Coonan said. The report demonstrates how AAPT, Optus, Primus and Telstra have complied with their Customer Service Guarantee (CSG) obligations. The CSG covers fixed phone services, particularly the time it takes to connect and repair telephone services.

Panel for Transport Field Worker Services for RailCorp

Description:The Services to be provided by the Tenderer are specific to individual tasks and will be under the supervision of the Manager Business Analysis. Description:Eastern Health is undertaking this Request for Tender(RFT) for the provision of a Scanned Medical Record System. This will be conducted over 4 separate and distinct phases. Eastern Health is committed to implementing a scanned medical record solution to manage their medical records to improve access to patient information at the point of care and to manage the storage of medical records in the medium to long term. The scanned medical record system chosen by Eastern Health will be an integral part of the IT Strategy adopted by the Health Service and will be linked to all information that is stored in paper based medical record files with the patient information that is available electronically.
Special Notes:The System must include the following features (but need not be limited to): - A web-based system allowing ready access to scanned medical records by approved users within the Health Service - A system which provides an intuitive representation of the paper medical record. - A system that allows scanning to be done by the Health Information Services on any of Eastern Health’s campuses. This list is not exhaustive and the RFT contains a significant number of requirements. Additional features that a prospective tenderer has to offer would also be considered.
