The digital content industry has demonstrated through the Digital Content Industry Action Agenda Report that it has significant capacity to assist the growth of high-value industries across the economy. The health of Australia's creative digital content industry is also an important indicator for future economic capability in global markets. Industry awareness forums on the Digital Content Industry Action Agenda Report and the Implementation Plan are being scheduled in each capital city.
2006 Consensus Software Awards announce Shortlist
The Consensus Software Awards are Australia’s only independently judged Awards for Australian designed and developed software. Each year, some of Australia’s most respected industry professionals are part of the judging panels. By applying the pre-defined judging criteria the panels are free to make an unlimited number of award recommendations each year based on merit where the best rise to the top. The Awards are recognised and endorsed by government and leading industry bodies. Winners and finalists benefit from industry and general media exposure throughout the competition and are invited to use the 'Endorsed by Consensus' certification scheme to further promote the quality of the product or service.
