For Australia to keep pace internationally, we must further raise our standard and be perceived as thoroughly professional in a global market place that is increasingly intolerant of risks that can be avoided,’’ Mr Argy said to a group of ICT professionals in Canberra on Tuesday evening, February 7. "We must reduce the risks associated with major technology projects in Australia to ensure we capture the maximum economic benefits from spending on ICT goods and services as well as promote the sector’s reputation.’’
