Case Management Toolset

Australia Network, Australia's International Television Broadcasting and Associated Digital Media Services

Description:Australia Network is a free-to-air international television and associated digital media service, which supports Australia’s national interests abroad, as set out in the Statement of Requirement. The key components of the Services are: (a) a broadcast encompassing a minimum geographic area; (b) operation under the Australia Network brand; (c) continuous 24 hour, 7 day a week programming with a schedule that is diverse, contemporary and up-to-date, of a high quality and relevant to the region, with an initial minimum of 80 percent of Australian content in a 24 hour period; (d) three (3) separate transmission signals servicing the Pacific, Asia and India to take account of sub-regional time zone and programming variations; (e) associated digital media services including a sophisticated companion website and other digital media services that are tailored to the target audience; and (f) provision for 'crawl' and/or 'pull through' messages in times of emergency and/or other important public information bulletins as required at no additional cost by the Australian Government.

Design, Production, and Supply of ICT Security Training Packages

Description:The ICT Security Awareness Training project will conduct a survey of existing ICT security awareness training, security awareness training to be made available shortly by the Defence Security Authority (DSA), and any other security awareness training shortfalls. A list of topics and training modules will be created, which will allow Defence to prioritise and choose those topics and modules that need to be made available to Defence personnel. The Contractor will then develop the training packages identified by Defence, using various formats which should include at least one (1) half hour computer-based training (CBT) (compatible with the Defence CAMPUS online training system), posters and/or pamphlets and narratives to be used by Defence for face-to-face training.

Provision of Integration Architecture and Business Systems

Description:Upon establishment of the new Central Coast Water Corporation, water related assets and services will be transferred from both Gosford and Wyong Councils to the new entity. This presents an opportunity to review the current Information Technology environments in both Gosford and Wyong Councils and as such the organisations are seeking solutions which provide synergies between the three organisations. Submissions should where possible focus on leveraging the investments already made by Councils however this needs to be balanced against strong benefits from strategic changes to the environments. This EOI will assist the existing water supply authorities (Wyong and Gosford councils) in developing a select list of prospective providers, to be invited to formally tender for integration components and business systems, as described further in this EOI document. As the forecast transition activities are divided into phases spanning several years, prospective providers that are able to assist the three parties plan, execute and manage the technology transition and associated business transformation journey are sought.

Description:We are proposing to replace all existing public transport ticketing systems currently in use with a Smartcard-based integrated fares collection system for multi-modal travel on bus, ferry and rail public transport services across all Operators in the Auckland region. The Integrated Fares System Project will support the Integrated Fare Policy and simplify travel by public transport within the region. In December 2009, We entered into a contract with Thales New Zealand Limited (Thales) to design, develop, install, operate and maintain the ticketing solution. Whilst Thales has been appointed as the ticketing contractor for the supply of most of the components for the ticketing system, AT has a number of responsibilities in respect to the AIFS. One of these is the supply and management of the Smartcard ticket stock AT has also recently entered into a Participation Agreement with NZ Bus and its supplier Snapper Services Limited (Snapper) for the first implementation of the AIFS scheme. This will see Snapper issue a proportion of cards. We will procure the supply of the balance of AIFS Smartcards utilising a procurement procedure in accordance with the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) Procurement Manual. This tender specifies the requirements for the development, manufacture, storage and supply of smartcards for AIFS (Tender: 345/11/35/PG).
