Description:	The Strategy Planning and Assurance (SP&A) portfolio is within the ATO EST Sub-plan and is responsible for coordinating the development of the EST Strategic Plan. Within the Strategic Plan, SP&A is also responsible for the development of the Technology Plan which looks at the future technology portfolio of the ATO. SP&A is responsible for the ATO’s Enterprise Architecture and it governs IT policies, methods and standards. Tender 11 Design, Supply, and Installation of Time Domain Reflectometry for a Rhizolysimeter Charles Darwin University (Darwin, NT)
Description:	The new Integrated Field Laboratory (Rhizolysimeter), which will house the TDR Instrumentation, will be one of the largest root growth and soil water research facilities in the southern hemisphere. It will require the construction of 2 interconnected accessible concrete bunkers below grade (note: the current scope comprises 2 only of the 3 interconnected concrete bunkers shown on the attached drawings). Each bunker will house 36 steel cylinders approximately 0.75m diameter x 2.40m deep. Each cylinder will contain soil and plant material samples connected to TDR probes (8 probes per cylinder) that will collate and relay research data to a central monitoring system. The design of the system will allow for non-destructive high resolution in situ measurement of root growth and soil water dynamics that is controlled by rainout shelters and compared with natural plant growth in the adjacent crop fields.

Description:	The Department of Environment and Resource Management (DERM) requires the services of suitably qualified contractors to offer for the provision of Aerial Photography, Digital Elevation Models (DEMs), Digital Orthophotos and associated services. DERM is the lead agency in spatial imagery acquisition. A Spatial Imagery Acquisition Plan has been developed that identified a high priority need for Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) around Queensland’s populated coast, and high resolution imagery over urban centres and communities. An arrangement has been negotiated where Queensland Government Departments, Agencies and Local Governments subscribe funds towards their aerial imagery capture needs. In areas of common interest projects are then combined to effect savings in capture costs across the State and Local Governments. DERM will own and manage this arrangement. Negotiations with other Government Agencies will be undertaken directly between DERM and the agency involved. A panel of suitably qualified organisations will be appointed to undertake these services under a Pre-qualified Supplier Agreement.
