Description:	The Centralised Processing (CP) Project is seeking to establish a single contract for the management and provision of CP services at the UNCLASSIFIED, RESTRICTED and SECRET levels. Tender 11 Substation Routing and Switching (Amended - New Date) EnergyAustralia (Sydney, NSW)
Description:	EA is currently deploying various new technologies within its substation environments which increasingly require access to IP/Ethernet services within the substation environment in order to deliver a range of business critical services. The selection of telecommunications equipment within the substation is of significant importance to the overall integrity, performance and operations of the electricity network. The selection of this telecommunications infrastructure will enable EA to implement a greater level of applications and complexity within the substation, taking advantage of existing standards such as IEC61850 for control and protection capabilities. There are additional project requirements for standardised telecommunications network infrastructure within the substations that are in addition to the forecast new and replacement substation needs.
