Tender 09 UNSW Storage Supplier Panel (Amended) University of New South Wales (Sydney, NSW)
Description:	UNSW seeks submissions from vendors wishing to participate in the UNSW Storage Supplier Panel and, optionally, submit proposals for the provision of storage solutions meet UNSW's High Performance VMware Hosting Storage and low cost high capacity Research Storage needs. Tender 11 Substation Routing and Switching EnergyAustralia (Sydney, NSW)
Description:	EA is currently deploying various new technologies within its substation environments which increasingly require access to IP/Ethernet services within the substation environment in order to deliver a range of business critical services. The selection of telecommunications equipment within the substation is of significant importance to the overall integrity, performance and operations of the electricity network. The selection of this telecommunications infrastructure will enable EA to implement a greater level of applications and complexity within the substation, taking advantage of existing standards such as IEC61850 for control and protection capabilities. There are additional project requirements for standardised telecommunications network infrastructure within the substations that are in addition to the forecast new and replacement substation needs. Two such projects include: 1. EA's rollout of a 4G network (WiMAX) for delivery of 'last mile' communication capabilities; 2. EA's trial of electronic perimeter security monitoring which is enhancing the security in and around substation properties.

Description:	On 8 March 2010 the New Zealand Customs Service (Customs) and Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) published an update notice (reference 29090) for prospective Prime suppliers regarding the Joint Border Management System (JBMS) programme. The notice advised that the Government had given approval to develop a Request for Proposal (RFP), but that whether or not the RFP could be issued would be a Budget 2010 decision. Funding for the first tranche of JBMS has now been allocated in the Government’s 2010 Budget, and we are authorised to proceed with the RFP process. The notice on 8 March 2010 also advised that the JBMS Request for Proposal (RFP) for prospective Prime suppliers would be issued to only those who responded to the RFI published in March 2009, and met the minimum criteria for participation. Information and advice received since then has caused us to review that decision, and we have concluded we should re-open access to qualification to receive the Prime supplier RFP. As a result, the purpose of this second Prime supplier RFI is to select a long list of suppliers that will be invited to respond to a closed RFP (GETS Reference: 29793).
