Description:	To assist the management of Geoscience Australia's data tapes containing seismic and other geoscientific data collection, Geoscience Australia requires the following services under 2 discrete Panels: The Remastering, Concatenation and Duplication Services Panel a) Tape Remastering: converting data on old media to new media and changing the format of the data; b) Tape Concatenation: copying data from low density media to high density media without changing the format of the data. The output medium may be a tape for high volume data or an optical medium (CD or DVD) for lower volume data; c) Tape Duplication: producing an identical copy of data to same or similar capacity medium including duplication of well log data, navigation and bathymetric data from tape media to optical disk media or new tape media; and d) Tape Repair: recovering data from tapes affected by physical damage, striction, stretched tape or corrupted tapes. Tender 04 Data Quality Review and Assessment – Commonwealth Superannuation Schemes Department of Finance and Deregulation (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	The objective of the Data Quality Project is to assess, and as required, improve the quality and stability of the member superannuation data within the schemes such that the Commonwealth, and in particular ComSuper, can be assured that existing and future data quality is not a root cause of material service quality issues, regulatory breaches and/or costs due to rework and/or manual intervention and processing (the Data Quality Project objective). The approach to the Data Quality Project will be staged. Stage 1 will involve reviewing and documenting the current issues around data received, held and disseminated by ComSuper, together with the development of a strategy to prioritise and address those issues. The outcome of Stage 1 will inform the implementation stage (Stage 2) of the Data Quality Project. This RFT relates to Stage 1 of the Data Quality Project. Data Quality Adviser will be required to review and assess the member superannuation data in relation to the administration of the Commonwealth’s superannuation schemes, in order to: compile a Data Quality (DQ) issues catalogue and, where issues exist, to describe and quantify the root cause and to document their impact(s) on the administration of the Schemes; prioritise the issues contained in the catalogue in terms of the impact they are having on the business; and propose rectification strategies for each of the issues identified, by way of a comprehensive project plan.

Description:	The Terrestrial Communications ITR is the initial procurement process to source a suitable provider to provision the core of a broader program of work to upgrade both the DTCN and other elements of the Defence ICT infrastructure to ensure leading edge ICT support continues to be provided in support of war fighter and corporate objectives. Tender 40 Airfield Navigational Aids - Ground Based Navigation and Capability New Zealand Defence Force (Wellington, NZ)
Description:	The primary purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to seek information that will assist the NZDF understand the relative benefits and cost of alternative approaches for achieving the provision of both precision and non-precision approach landing aids at RNZAF Bases Whenuapai and Ohakea. These navigation aids are required to allow aircraft to land in conditions of low cloud and poor visibility. At present these requirements are met by the provision of Instrument Landing Systems (ILS) for precision instrument approaches and VORTAC navigation aids for non-precision instrument approaches at each airfield The existing VORTAC systems (were installed in 1988 and the ILS (CAT I) systems were installed in 1995. The maintenance and repair of both systems, together with the associated flight calibration requirements, is currently contracted out to a specialist civilian contractor. Normally these systems would be expected to operate for up to 20 years and while there are currently no significant maintenance problems, their age, especially the VORTAC systems, is a concern and accordingly the NZDF is looking at replacement options (GETS Reference: 29506).
