SC AWARDS AUSTRALIA 2010

The Secure Computing awards presented by AusCERT are again organised to recognise the professionals, organisations and products that daily repulse threats confronted by Australians.

This is the second year they have run the Australian awards based on those in Europe and the US now in its 13th year. These awards are run in the lead up to theAusCERT2010 Conference, Australia’s premier event for the IT security community, now in its 8th year, where the awards will be presented at a gala dinner. Nominations are now open, and close 23 April 2010.

Description:	The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is seeking to enter into an agreement, in accordance with this RFT and its conditions, for the supply, maintenance and support of a Web Application Firewall. The ABS may purchase units for Development, Test and Production environments. Tender 20 Fit for Purpose Review of ServiceFirst Multi-Client SAP Environment Department of Services, Technology & Administration (Sydney, NSW)
Description:	ServiceFirst is a multi-client shared services organisation currently supporting a large number of Government agencies. Historically, services have been provided via different platforms and processes. ServiceFirst is undertaking a program of integration and standardisation. It seeks to position itself as an integrated, multi-tenanted, services organisation, capable of delivering benefits from scale and standardisation, whilst also supporting the independent and specific needs of its clients. A major step on this roadmap has been to establish a Client multi-tenanted SAP environment. The first release of this multi-tenanted SAP environment is in production and is supporting a small number of clients. ESS-MSS, Time Recording, Labour Costing and Travel Expenses are currently being rolled out to this group. Plans are underway to begin migrating in clusters, all of ServiceFirst’s clients to this environment. The establishment of the Client SAP environment occurred prior to the development of a Whole of Government Blueprint for Corporate and Shared Services. The blueprint has now been developed and it is timely that the ServiceFirst SAP environment is assessed as “Fit for Purpose” in context of the Blueprint, and recent reviews of ServiceFirst. This is the focus of this study. You are invited to provide a quotation to assist in this work. The matters to be examined are in the attached Scope of Work document.
