Australia’s $98 billion IT industry is set to benefit, with an IT Supplier Advocate to be appointed to help secure more major IT contracts. Tender 03 Future Platforms and Systems Workshop Report Department of Defence - DSG (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	In December 2008 we invited division chiefs of the Air Operations Centre and other key personnel to a one day workshop to discuss issues that may arise from the use of platforms and systems that are proposed/ scheduled to be put into operation by 2018. The workshop session was recorded through multiple microphones and subsequently transcribed. The transcription was coded using the NVIVO software into major themes. The Contractor is required to use the transcript and coding to produce a report detailing the issues captured by the workshop that might impact on the AOC relating to the use of future systems and platforms. In addition, the report should include a section describing the current issues with the day-to-day operation of the AOC.

Tender 16 Provision of a Scanned Medical Record System Peninsula Health (Frankston, VIC)
Description:	Peninsula Health is undertaking this Request for Tender (RFT) for the provision of a Scanned Medical Record System. Peninsula Health is committed to implementing a scanned medical record solution to manage their medical records to improve access to patient information at the point of care and to manage the storage of medical records in the medium to long term. The scanned medical record system chosen by Peninsula Health will be an integral part of the IT strategy adopted by the Health Service and will be linked to all information that is stored in paper based medical record files with the patient information that is available electronically. The System must include the following features (but need not be limited to): A web based system allowing ready access to scanned medical records by approved users within the Health Service; A system which provides an intuitive representation of the paper medical record A system that allows scanning to be performed by the Health Information Services department on any Peninsula Health site; A system that supports existing and planned business applications. Tender 17 IVR Services as part of the Electronic Voting Project Victorian Electoral Commission (Melbourne, VIC)
Description:	The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) wishes to engage the services of an IVR provider that can host and provide a software and hardware solution to support the 2010 Victorian State election. Tender 18 Request for Tender (RFT) for Touch-screen Kiosks Victorian Electoral Commission (Melbourne, VIC)
Description:	The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) conducts elections for the Parliament of Victoria. The next State election will be held on 27 November 2010. A key part of the election is to provide electors with services that enable them to vote independently. The VEC is further developing an electronic voting system that enables eligible community groups to do this via a software program. The VEC requires a touch-screen kiosk for this software. Approximately 102 kiosks will be required and they must be designed and manufactured according to the VEC’s specifications. The kiosks will be deployed to Early Voting Centre sites around Victoria and the United Kingdom for use during the early voting period for the 2010 Victorian State election (15 November – 26 November 2010). Some will also be used in Mobile Early Voting centres within Victoria.

Tender 25 Supply and Delivery of Electro Optic System and Airborne Mission Management Systems Western Australia Police (Perth, WA)
Description:	Western Australia Police (WA Police) requires the successful Respondent(s) to provide two (2) Electro Optic (EO) systems (High Definition Thermal Imager and video system) suitable to be fitted and operated on the new police helicopter with the turret fitted in a standard manner. The project also requires that two (2) suitable Airborne Mission Management Systems (AMMS) be supplied. The AMMS must be integrated with the supplied EO system and form an entire package. Description:	This purpose of this Notice is to: (a) advise that, as part of the Government Procurement Reform programme, The Department of Internal Affairs (IT Equipment Centre of Expertise), intends to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) on 8 March 2010 for the supply of Multi-function Devices (MFDs) and Laser Printers; and (b) invite interested suppliers to register their interest (by 5 March) in attending a briefing session to be held on 11 March 2010. Objective: The objective of the RFP is to contract Prime Supplier(s), if any, to provide (on their own or as a consortium) a standardised range of MFDs, Laser Printers and associated services to government agencies nationwide. Scope: Respondents will have the opportunity to bid for the supply of three types of MFDs and three types of Laser Printers, both based on page speed. The standard specification of each device will include optional accessories and associated services to assist agencies in minimising their print costs. State Services agencies are required to transition to these contracts from existing arrangements as soon as practicable from 1 July 2010. Agencies in the wider State sector and School Boards of Trustees are encouraged to use these contracts, but their participation is, ultimately, optional.
