Tender 10 Carbon Management System Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (Sydney, NSW)
Description:	Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC) is seeking Expressions of Interest in the provision of a system to support councils’ carbon management initiatives. SSROC is acting as an agent for six member and three non-member councils. The councils need to be able to monitor, manage and report carbon emissions for their own operations and, progressively, for community-based emissions from their respective Local Government Areas (LGAs). Tender 24 Provision, Service and Maintenance of an Endoscopic Surgical Video System Melbourne Health (Melbourne, VIC)
Description:	The Royal Melbourne Hospital operating suite complex consists of 11 operating theatres with a 16-bed Post Anaesthetic Care unit. The operating suite also incorporates the Day of Surgery Admission (DOSA) area where 90% of elective cases are admitted on the morning of surgery and all day cases are managed. In excess of 15,000 patients are treated in the OR per annum. This Tender is for the supply, installation and maintenance of an endoscopic surgical video system. The system will be utilised by a number of area within the hospital including Thoracic Surgery, Nephrology, Urology and General Surgery Units. It shall be fully commissioned by late June 2010 and will be located in Theatres at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) Campus.

It is proposed to rationalise the machines by department (proposed allocation attached) and move towards a regular servicing contract after this project has been completed, noting that any longer-term servicing contract would be subject to competitive pricing. The GON wishes to engage appropriately qualified companies to send a technician to Niue for 1 week to get as many of the machines working as is cost-effective and provide a short report on remaining life and recommended replacement / leasing / service options. Early in the week the technician will determine if machines have to be relocated and assistance with relocation (physical lifting or other movement) will be provided by GON staff at GON risk and cost, noting that the staff have no expertise in relocating copiers and will require supervision from the technician. It is essential that effort and funds are not wasted on functionally irreparable machines (GETS Reference: 28911).
