Last year the Government announced its intention to change the R&D tax concession regime by tightening the eligibility criteria and excluding certain software activities from future claims. Description:	Check-Up is an interactive application for Australian Government agencies to assess the state of their information and records management. It consists of a number of questions that relate to various aspects of records and information management. The current version (version 1) is a Flash application that is provided on CD. Check-Up 2.0 will be hosted online and have enhanced functionality, updated content, improved reporting capability and a whole of government benchmarking and tracking capability.

Tender 07 Provision of a CrimTrac Secure Extranet CrimTrac (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	CrimTrac seeks responses from interested organisations for the development of a secure Extranet based on the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 suite of software tools. The Extranet will replace CrimTrac’s current portal. CrimTrac has settled on MOSS 2007 as its preferred development suite. However, the new Extranet must be able to integrate with a range of Microsoft and non-Microsoft products.

Tender 22 Provision of Web Based Carpooling Managed Service Department of Transport and Main Roads (Brisbane, QLD)
Description:	The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is seeking suitable suppliers for the provision of a web based Carpooling Managed Service (CPMS) for use by Queensland Government officers. The RFO is developed in conjunction with TravelSmart, a unit of TMR’s Passenger Transport Division. TravelSmart is a voluntary travel behaviour change program that encourages Queenslanders to use more sustainable modes of transport such as public transport, cycling, walking and carpooling. It provides participants the opportunity to contribute to a better environment by helping to relieve traffic congestion. The TravelSmart Program has four sub-programs which are directed at workplaces, schools, destinations and communities. The Carpooling Managed Service will be used to: a) Enable convenient registration and carpool matching to all Queensland Government officers from their desktop; b) Encourage Queensland Government officers to choose carpooling (as opposed to single occupancy vehicle trips) as a viable transport option for their commute to work; c) Report on ‘End User’ activity statistics, for example, the number of: i) Registered users; ii) Successful matches; iii) Carpooling trips travelled; and iv) Vehicle kilometres travelled saved; d) Provide other relevant features and functionality.

Tender 28 Request for Proposal - MACS Conversion Motor Accidents Insurance Board (Launceston, TAS)
Description:	The Motor Accidents Insurance Board (MAIB), as a Tasmanian Government Business Enterprise, provides motor vehicle personal injury accident insurance to Tasmanian motorists and has certain administrative responsibilities under the Motor Accidents (Liabilities and Compensation) Act 1973. The Motor Accidents Claims System (MACS) was implemented in October 1999 for administration of accident claims, claim payments, rehabilitation and future care. MACS was developed using Unify (formerly Centura) Team Developer and based on an Oracle database. Following a recent review of MACS, the MAIB is now requesting proposals to convert MACS from the current Unify Team Developer environment to Microsoft.NET. The underlying Oracle database will be retained.

Tender 29 Computer Software Replacement West Wimmera Shire Council (Edenhope, VIC)
Description:	Tenders are invited for the provision of a corporate information system to replace Council’s existing suite of corporate software. The overall objective is to provide a financial, property, building, planning, health, animal control, Human Resource computer software complying with all relevant Local Government and Australian Taxation requirements. Specific objectives are as follows: provide a system that meets the changing legislative and administrative requirements of Local Government; to utilise a Microsoft Windows based platform; to utilise a Microsoft SQL database; provide a high degree of report flexibility; provide ongoing support and training; provide conversion of existing data; new system live date of 1 July 2010; ability to integrate with MapInfo; ability for remote access. Description:	VICSES is seeking to procure, initially 750 Radio Terminals with a view to procure an additional Radio Terminals on an as needs basis over a 12 month period, to replace its entire fleet of fixed and mobile UHF radio equipment, as well as to provide additional VHF transceivers.
