Tender 01 Teradata Technical Specialist Australian Taxation Office (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	The Commonwealth represented by and acting through the Australian Taxation Office (Tax Office), invites Tenders for the provision of suitably qualified personnel (Specified Personnel) to work at the Tax Office's premises within a team known as Enterprise Applications to perform ICT Services. The Tax Office is seeking a results driven Specified Personnel to fill a contract position within the Data Warehouse (DWH) group in the Enterprise Applications Branch, Business Intelligence Portfolio. The DWH group has four technical teams supporting: Teradata Operations; Data Design and ETL Processing, Enterprise Reporting Capability and, DWH Physical Data Model design. The teams are responsible for building, managing and supporting Tax Office Business Intelligence (BI) technical capabilities, including data warehousing, data mining, analytics and enterprise reporting. Tender 03 Supply of Goods to the Mifare DESFire Transition Project Department of Defence - DSG (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	The Directorate of Physical Security Product Management (DPSPM) is to provide Defence with a fully integrated physical access control environment, based upon a multi-application, fast and highly secure data transmission function proximity (smart) card, the Defence Common Access Card (DCAC). The Mifare DESFire Transition Project was established to replace the current Mifare Classic DCAC with the Mifare DESFire EV1 card. The introduction of the Mifare DESFire card will increase the level of access security and also introduce a standard DCAC replacing a variety of Mifare Classic cards that currently exist across the Defence Organisation.

Tender 04 Telephony solution to replace the existing PABX System Department of Defence - CIOG (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	The existing PABX is located in Building R3 and provides telephony services to a total of eight (8) buildings in the Russell Hill precinct. The PABX is at the end of its useful and economic life and needs to be replaced. The successful tenderer will be required to: (a) supply, install and commission a replacement solution, including peripheral equipment, to the standards laid out in the Statement of Requirements (SOR); (b) provide documentation (including engineering design) as per SOR; (c) undertake customer data collection and consultation; (d) program and manage client applications (e) demonstrate full operational system testing on site prior to commissioning of the new PABX. This will also include full operational testing of all system peripherals. (f) Demonstrate 100% functionality testing of all installed handsets; (g) Deliver training to technical administrative and user staff; (h) Provide ten (10) consecutive days of on-site technical and user support; (i) Provide thirty (30) consecutive days defect-free period for the installed system; (j) Provide 4th level maintenance support agreement with a minimum of 12 months warranty on all supplied equipment; (k) Provide (as an option) a five year support plan for software upgrades, bug fixes, patches and new releases; and (l) Decommission and dispose of the old PABX system in R3 two weeks after the commissioning of the new solution.

Tender 05 Digital Cinema Solution (2D and 3D) Attorney-General's Department (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	Classification Operations Branch of the Attorney-General's Department requires the services of a suitable provider who can supply a digital cinema (2D and 3D) solution to suit an existing theatrette and sound system. Tender 25 Supply of ICT Hardware, Licensing, WAN Connectivity & Related Services District Council of Mount Barker (Mount Barker, SA)
Description:	Council's computing network comprises appproximately 150 users across 3 primary sites. The server environment comprises a mixed Novell Netware and Microsoft Windows Active Directory environment witha single virtual (VmWare) host supporting the recently deployed Microsoft Active Directory & Exchange 2007 email system, TRIM, Local History and Backup Servers. The IT environment also hosts several other workgroup Windows 2003 appplication server including a Citrix Presentation server and a Linux server. File and Print servers are housed on two old HP servers with Network Attached Storage (NAS) loaded with the Novell Netware operation system. The current computing environment is placing limitations on Council's daily business processes and does not have the capacity to seamlessly grow in line with the size and complexity of the organisation. Subsequently there is a need to expand the storage and processing power of the network, standardise on an Active Directory environment, upgrade Desktop Administration tools and switching equipment in addition to entering into a services contract for the planning, configuration, implementation and longer term high end technical support of the above. Further, Council wishes to locate a SAN and two servers at an external collocation facility in addition to implementing the Wide Area Network infrastructure to provide connectivity between the Local Government Centre and the collocation site. Connectivity between Council's three primary sites (Local Government Centre, Library and Field Services Centre) are out of scope whereas bandwidth requirements to a fourth small location may be implemented.
