Tender 01 Garrison and Estate Management System (GEMS) - Pre-Tender Information for Industry Briefing Department of Defence - DSG (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	The Garrison and Estate Management System (GEMS) Project Solution Implementer Requirements Pre-Tender Information for Industry Briefing will provide information on the expected timeframes of tendering for a GEMS Solution Implementer (SI). The Pre-Tender Information for Industry will also include a description of the currently expected requirements of the GEMS SI; background on the scope of the GEMS Solution; and a description of the proposed contracting approach. In advance of issuing a GEMS Project Request For Tender (RFT), Defence will provide 'Pre-Tender Information' for information purposes only. The Pre-Tender Information will be based on information and circumstances current at the time of the Industry Briefing. The Pre-Tender Information may no longer be relevant once a RFT is issued. Tender 02 Desktop a Notebook (PCs) Refresh Project Fair Work Australia (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	Fair Work Australia (FWA) wishes to purchase a combined total of (approximately) five hundred (500) desktops and notebooks to upgrade and replace old technology. A pilot of the PC rollout will commence in November 2009, therefore delivery of specified pilot units will be required prior to 13 November 2009. The pilot will be monitored late November/early December. Assuming the pilot is successful, the full roll-out will commence 14 December 2009 on a state by state basis until March 2010. The bulk of PCs and peripherals will need to be delivered before 4 December 2009. At the same time as the hardware roll-out there will be an upgrade of the operating system from Windows XP to Windows 7 (or Windows Vista) and Office 2003 to Office 2007.

Tender 10 Vertical Aerial Photography Coverage - NSW North Coast Department of Environment and Climate Change (Sydney, NSW)

Description:	The MHL key business processes can be divided into four areas: Data Collection - Telemetry Systems; Data Storage - Content Management/ Storage Systems; Data Analysis - Content Processing/Editing Systems; Presentation - Web Portal Systems. The key business requirements for MHL include: 1. Full access to historical database; 2. Ability to quality code data, and provide a process to improve quality of data over time via a single source of raw data, and ability for other stakeholders to upload corrections, including appropriate validation steps; 3. Multiple levels of remote access to data and data management systems; 4. High level (super user) access to operating systems attributes necessary for ongoing management of database and information tools, such as analytical models and tools; 5. An appropriate level of system redundancy and disaster recovery fitting with Client and contractual requirements, as well as an ability to function, albeit with reduced overall capability, when central systems fail; 6. Provide integration path for provision of data via spatial database systems 7. Ability to push data to third parties such as Bureau of Meteorology by employing reusable technology design principles such Service Oriented Architecture.
