Tender 24 SAP Support Services Christchurch City Council (Christchurch, NZ)
Description:	SAP classic system landscape was implemented at CCC (Christchurch City Council) in July 1999. BW / SEM was later introduced in 2004 for reporting and Solution Manager added early 2007 for monitoring. The prime use of SAP until recently has been for Financials including HR, Payroll, basic Asset Management and Plant Maintenance with other Government Functions provided by GEMS (Government Enterprise Management System). In 2008 a project (LASER) was officially launched to move away from GEMS and replace this completely with SAP with an in house developed .NET front end. Since implementation SAP at CCC has been through many upgrades and changes in system and infrastructure including implementation across clustered servers and VMWare Hosts (for some servers). Support roles for SAP have now been split to BASIS Administration and SAP Security Administration with Security Development being a separate role outside of operational support. The requirement is to find business partners capable of complimenting existing skill sets and filling gaps where required.
