Description:	The NSW Advanced Cytometry Facility is a collaboration between the University of Sydney and the Bosch and Centenary Institutes. It is a core resource facility for Cytometry and Cell Sorting and it serves the University campus and beyond. The ACF is committed to the continuing development and transfer of cytometry expertise and techniques, with the goal of enhancing the role of cytometry as a major modality in biological/biomedical research. The University believes imaging is an ideal complement to flow cytometry in a core cytometry facility and is thus seeking to purchase an automated high-content imager to complement our existing flow cytometers. The acquisition of this instrumentation will take current research to the next level of discovery and maintain our position on the cutting-edge. Tender 19 Unified Communications Solutions Whitsunday Regional Council (Proserpine, QLD)
Description:	Whitsunday Regional Council has two main offices located in Proserpine and Bowen. The Proserpine office has an Alcatel PABX system installed and supports approximately 200 ends. The Bowen office has a Telstra Spectrum solution with approximately 50 ends. There is no connection between these systems so all calls between the offices are made at timed long distance rates. There are an additional 13 sites located at Proserpine, Cannonvale, Foxdale, Bowen and Collinsville. These sites have individual PSTN services and ISDN or BDSL connections for data services providing Internet, Email and Citrix published applications. Currently Proserpine and Bowen offices are connected via a 100Mb full duplex microwave service with a backup DSL link. It is anticipated that the UC solution will initially support approximately 250 handsets across the 15 sites and will need to be scalable to a minimum of 500. The chosen UC applications will need to function fully over the existing network. The data network is currently being upgraded in accordance with a two layer access and core model. The Distribution Layer functions will be carried out in the Core Layer for Proserpine and all other sites will utilise a collapsed access, distribution and core. The network hardware is predominately Cisco.

Tender 25 Supply of Tandberg Videoconferencing Equipment Deakin University (Melbourne, VIC)
Description:	Deakin University is looking to enter into a preferred supplier relationship for the procurement and support of Tandberg equipment for 3 years. Deakin sees the strategic importance of Tandberg equipment with over 100 endpoints already in service and is looking for a strategic partner over the next 3 years to both procure and provide support services for the Tandberg installations. Deakin University expects to order in the magnitude of $750KAUD per calendar year of Tandberg equipment for the next 3 years and look to implement and adopt "The TANDBERG Total Solution" as its foundation for all video conferencing.
