Description:	The National Library of Australia currently utilises two Access Control and Intruder alarm systems (ACIAS) and wants to upgrade its two security alarm and access control systems to a single system. Tender 24 IT Service Management Application Upgrade Edith Cowan University (Joondalup, WA)
Description:	The IT Service Centre (ITSC) at ECU currently uses a HP OpenView Service Desk version 4.5 (HPOVSD) to log and track queries and reports of IT service and equipment failures. This application has been in use for approximately seven years and is approaching the end of its lifecycle. ITSC recently analysed its service management requirements from both functional and process viewpoints. This has resulted in acknowledgement that ECU requires an application with far more functionality than it needed in 2002. A number of workshops have been held with the ITSC staff (and staff from ECU satellite IT departments), as well as non-IT staff and students, to assess the overall requirements for a replacement application. The requirements have then been categorised to give ITSC an idea of what is a Must have, Should have and could have for the replacement, and what won’t be required within the next two years but may be required thereafter. The requirements have been further categorised by function and process.
