Description:	Medicare Easyclaim is a channel that enables the electronic transmission of Medicare claims from a medical practice to Medicare Australia. This channel uses a secure Electronic Funds Transfer Point Of Sale (EFTPOS) network operated by financial institutions specifically accredited by Medicare Australia for that purpose. The purpose of the package is to stimulate development of integrated Medicare Easyclaim solutions which make it easier and more convenient for medical providers and their patients to claim Medicare Benefits electronically at the medical practice.
