2009 AUSTRALIAN INNOVATION FESTIVAL

The Australian Innovation Festival is a national festival established in 2002 to encourage and support networking and business opportunities for participants in the areas of research & development, and technology commercialisation, across all industry sectors.

The 2009 Festival will be held from 26th April to 30th May 2009. Universities, industry and business associations, government and organisations will be participating this year with over 500 events in all States and Territories.

Tender 08 Audiovisual Production Services for the Prime Minister's Prizes for Science 2009 and 2010 Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (Canberra, ACT)
Description:	The Department requires professional film production services to produce broadcast quality videos of the recipients of the Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science, highlighting their achievements and reasons for award. Tender 21 Connectivity and Network Access for the DET Learning Device (Restricted) NSW Department of Education and Training (Sydney, NSW)
Description:	This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is a restricted RFP made by the NSW Department of Education and Training (“DET”) for the supply to DET of connectivity and network access for the DET learning devices and other defined deliverables. DET is seeking vendor partners to support it in delivery of its part of the Commonwealth Government's Digital Education Revolution and other DET initiatives. These initiatives have the objective of radically increasing the availability of information and communications technology (ICT) to secondary school students in Years 9 to 12. DET seeks to implement these programs and initiatives by: providing a powerful, compact learning device to each Year 9-12 public school student and each secondary teacher in NSW public schools; and installing wireless connectivity in all NSW public schools with Year 9-12 enrolments to support the students’ use of the learning devices. The key outcome of this RFP is to enter into a Contract with a single Respondent for a period of 3 years with up to 2 one-year optional extensions. It is DET’s intention to use 1 supplier to implement the entire connectivity and network access solution.
