As the capital city for Western Australia, the City of Perth plays an important role in the management of how the city’s street network and public realm areas operate. The City is now seeking to replace its current multiple parking technologies & systems with a fully integrated parking management system (IPMS). It is envisaged that the IPMS will allow the City of Perth to optimise its parking network and make informed future planning decisions in accordance with the City’s Strategic Community Plan and other key operational plans. The City’s Preference is to deal with one prime contractor through one contract. The successful Contractor would be responsible for managing all Subcontractors. Whilst the City recognises that there may be a consortia based approach to deliver the fully integrated system, the preference is to deal with one company (either on its own or as part of the consortia, joint venture etc.) on all matters including supply, installation and ongoing maintenance. A lead organisation is required to be nominated if a consortia.
