Apprenticeship and Traineeship Regulatory Field Services

The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (“VRQA” or “Organisation”) is a statutory authority in Victoria’s Education and Training portfolio established under s4.2.1 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (the Act). The VRQA requires a service provider(s) to provide Regulatory Field Services (the Services) in order to fulfil VRQA’s regulatory function with respect to apprenticeships and traineeships under section 5.5. of the Act. The objective of the Services is to confirm that apprentices and trainees are receiving appropriate, relevant and high quality formal education and on the job training and experience by monitoring the compliance of employers, apprentices and trainees with the requirements of their training contracts in accordance with the Act.
